The manufacturer counts 84 pieces overall. Cardboard boxes are intentionally not included, so families need a few clean boxes ready before play begins.
Why the design is more useful than a one-time cardboard craft

How independent is it?
There is no app, account, battery or internet requirement. Children still need enough hand strength and coordination to punch holes and tighten connectors. Ages five and up is the manufacturer's guidance, but an adult may be useful for the first build or for thicker cardboard.

Educational Insights listed the kit in stock for $24.99 at our September 10 check. Walmart was listing the same vehicle kit for $17.99 at the same time. Because retailer promotions move quickly, use those prices as a snapshot rather than a promise. The value improves if the tools and connectors survive multiple builds.

Boxineers Cardboard Vehicles is one of the more practical screen-free construction ideas because it does not lock children into one finished model. It makes the most sense for kids who like building large pretend-play objects and for families willing to keep a few clean boxes available.
